MOTISONGS-Paul David Williams: Press
Many local people know Paul Williams from his barber shop at 45 E. Savannah St. in Clayton, but for those who don't, you're missing a treat. He has been in and around the music circuit for more than 40 years. Originally from Michigan, Paul moved to Arizona with his family where he lived for 20 years.
In 1964 he went to see a Beatles concert back in Michigan and that is what inspired him to begin playing the guitar. He was later in several bands, the most successful of which was The Electric Blues Band, and they played pre-show for such stars as Bob Seger and Ted Nugent in Detroit. After a time, he decided to go strictly to acoustic music with an emphasis on love ballads.
Locally, Paul has played at Tallulah Falls, Grapes and Beans, Celebrate Clayton, and various private parties and events. He has a wonderful CD out entitled "Love", and has plans to do as many more as he possibly can.
Paul can be contacted via his website at www.motisongs.com or by phone at (706) 490-5295
He is truly a gifted and talented musician.
